Usage & limits
Novex tracks how much you use the AI Copilot and applies a quota based on your plan — and you manage all of this from Settings → AI. This keeps AI usage predictable and lets admins decide how the Copilot is enabled across the workspace.
Configure AI (Settings → AI)
Admins manage the Copilot from Settings → AI:
- Go to Settings → AI.
- Enable or disable the Copilot for your workspace.
- Adjust the available options (these depend on your plan).
- Save. Changes apply to the workspace immediately.
Because configuration is permission-gated, only teammates with the right role can change AI settings — see Team & roles.
Usage & quota tracking
Novex meters Copilot usage so you always know where you stand against your allowance:
- Usage accrues as you and your teammates interact with the Copilot.
- Your remaining quota and consumption are visible so there are no surprises.
- When the allowance for your plan is reached, the Copilot pauses until the quota resets or you move to a higher plan.
Per-plan limits
AI capacity scales with your subscription tier. Higher plans get more headroom.
| Plan tier | AI allowance |
|---|---|
| Entry | Smallest Copilot allowance |
| Mid | Larger allowance for regular use |
| Top / Enterprise | Highest allowance for heavy, team-wide use |
The exact figures depend on your current subscription. Check Settings → AI or your plan details for the numbers that apply to your workspace.
Tips & limits
- Watch usage near month-end if your team relies on the Copilot heavily, so you are not surprised by the cap.
- Disable the Copilot per workspace from Settings → AI if you need to switch it off entirely.
- Upgrade for more capacity — if you regularly hit the cap, a higher plan raises the allowance.
- Usage is shared across the workspace, so coordinate if multiple teammates draw on the same quota.
