First-login tours
Novex opens a short guided tour the first time you land on a key screen. Each tour points out the handful of controls that matter on that page, one step at a time, so you know what to do next before you’ve added any data.
What you’ll see
There are three tours, each tied to a screen:
- Dashboard — the left navigation, getting-started tips, and the Command Center.
- Events — the events list and how to create your first event.
- Form builder — publishing a form and sharing its link.
A tour opens automatically the first time you reach that screen. Each step is a small callout pinned to the control it describes, with a Step X of Y progress label and Next / Back buttons.
Skip, finish, and resume
- Skip closes the tour but remembers where you were — if you replay it later, it picks up from that step.
- Got it finishes the tour on the last step.
- A tour won’t open again on its own once you’ve seen, skipped, or finished it.
Replay a tour
Every screen that has a tour shows a Replay tour button in its header. Click it any time to run the tour again — handy when you’re onboarding a teammate or just want a refresher.
Good to know
- Tours are per person, not per workspace — every teammate gets their own on their first login.
- Whether you’ve seen a tour is saved to your account, so it stays consistent across your devices. (The exact step you paused on is remembered per device; on a new device a replay simply starts from the beginning.)
- Prefer to explore on your own? Every module also shows empty-state guidance that points to the next useful action.
