Social accounts

Connect your LinkedIn, Meta, and X accounts to Novex so you can publish and schedule event-promotion posts without leaving the platform. Each account is a separate connector you authorize with OAuth (Meta uses the embedded-signup / Business Login flow).

When and why to connect

Connect your accounts when you start promoting events — speaker announcements, “tickets live”, countdowns, post-event recaps. Once connected you compose once in Novex and publish to one or several channels together.

Connecting an account

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations (or Social → Accounts).
  2. Pick the network — LinkedIn, Meta, or X — and click Connect.
  3. An authorization popup opens:
    • LinkedIn / X — sign in and approve the requested posting permissions.
    • Meta — use the embedded-signup / Business Login overlay and grant your Facebook Page and/or Instagram account as assets (see Meta App & assets).
  4. Approve the scopes. Novex stores the OAuth token, encrypted, and the account appears as Connected.

Posting from Novex

  1. Go to Social → New (compose).
  2. Write your post and attach any image or media.
  3. Select the connected accounts to publish to — one or several at once.
  4. Publish now or schedule for a later date and time.
  5. Track published posts and their state from the Social list.

See Social posting for the full composing and scheduling workflow.

Tips & limits

  • Each network enforces its own content rules (length, media types, per-post media counts). Novex shows the relevant limit as you compose.
  • OAuth tokens expire or get revoked. If a post fails to publish, check the connector — an Action needed badge means you must reconnect.
  • Connecting Meta here uses the same single-app grant as WhatsApp; revoking it in Meta Business Manager affects all Meta features.
  • Disconnecting a social account stops scheduled posts to that account from going out.
