Mobile app

Mobile app

A Novex mobile companion app is on the way. It wraps your existing Novex workspace so your team can run the essentials from a phone — with two things a browser can’t do as well: a native badge QR scanner for fast door check-in, and push notifications.

Status: coming soon. The Android build is heading to Google Play internal testing first (invite-only). iOS follows once App Store enrollment is verified. This page will update with the join link when testing opens.

What it will do

  • Sign in as usual. You log into the same nov3x.com workspace inside the app; everything you already use is there.
  • Native QR check-in. Point the phone camera at an attendee badge to check them in — the same check-in your kiosk uses, now in your pocket at the door.
  • Push notifications. Opt in to get alerts on your device. (Sending turns on after the first release; there’s nothing to configure yet.)
  • Payments & sign-in stay safe. Anything that leaves Novex — a card payment, a Google/Facebook sign-in — opens in your phone’s normal browser, then returns you to the app.

Platforms

  • Android — first, via Google Play internal testing.
  • iOS — planned; gated on Apple Developer verification.

For Novex staff

Build, signing, and release details live in the app’s in-repo README: apps/mobile/README.md (open on GitHub — requires repo access). It covers the Capacitor setup, the signed-AAB CI lane, and the Play internal-testing upload flow.
