Product tour
The first time you reach your dashboard, Novex offers a short guided tour of the main areas of the workspace. Combined with empty-state guidance on every module, it means you always know what to do next — even before you’ve added any data.
The first-run tour
- It launches automatically on your first visit to the dashboard after onboarding.
- It highlights the left navigation, the global search / create actions, and the dashboard tiles, with a one-line explanation of each.
- Skip or replay: dismiss it at any point — it won’t nag you again. To run it again later, use the Replay tour button in the page header. See First-login tours for skip, resume, and the full per-screen behavior.
Empty-state guidance
Most lists in Novex start empty. Instead of a blank screen, each module shows an empty state: a short explanation of what the module is for and a primary button to create the first item.
For example:
- Events with no events shows “Create your first event” with a button to the new-event form.
- Clients, Leads, Invoices, Venues, and similar lists each show their own create-first-item prompt.
This is also what you see if you soft-skipped onboarding: operational pages render a guided empty state rather than forcing you back into the wizard.
When to use this
- New to Novex? Let the tour run once to learn the layout.
- Onboarding a teammate? Point them at the tour and the empty states — they’re the fastest way to learn each module.
Tips
- The tour is per user, not per tenant — every new team member gets it on their first login.
- If you dismissed the tour and want the orientation again, the empty states and the in-app Help / Support links cover the same ground.
