Social posting

Social posting lets you write a post once and publish or schedule it to your connected LinkedIn, Meta, and X accounts — for event promotion, announcements, and recaps. It runs off the social accounts you’ve connected in Settings.

When and why to use it

Use social posting for public reach — announcing tickets, teasing speakers, counting down to the event, and sharing recaps afterward — rather than one-to-one contact. Posting from Novex keeps all your channels and their schedule in one view.

Before you start

Connect at least one social account first — see Social accounts. You can connect:

  • LinkedIn (your Page)
  • Meta — Facebook Page and/or Instagram
  • X

Compose a post

  1. Open the Social module and click New (compose).
  2. Write your post text.
  3. Attach media (image / media) if you want it.
  4. Select the accounts to publish to — one or several at once.
  5. Review the per-network preview; Novex flags anything that exceeds a network’s limits as you compose.

Publish or schedule

  1. Choose Publish now or Schedule for a future date and time.
  2. Confirm. Scheduled posts wait in the queue and go out automatically at the set time.
  3. Track each post and its status from the Social list — published, scheduled, or failed.

Tips & limits

  • Each network has its own rules — text length, allowed media types, and per-post media counts differ. Compose with the strictest target in mind when posting to several at once.
  • If a post fails to publish, check the account’s connector — an Action needed badge means the OAuth token expired or was revoked; reconnect and retry.
  • Disconnecting an account cancels its scheduled posts.
  • Instagram and Facebook posting both rely on the single Meta app grant — see Meta App & assets.
